Ellen R. Babby, Ph.D.

Senior Fellow, Center for the Future of Arizona and Nonprofit Consultant | Board Member

Dr. Ellen R. Babby is a consultant with more than 30 years of experience in executive management in the nonprofit arena with a focus on higher education. Her particular areas of expertise are in strategic planning, corporate and foundation relations, advancement and organizational development. Babby splits her time between Phoenix, Arizona & Washington, D.C. Prior to moving to Arizona, she served as Vice President, Advancement & Strategic Alliances, at the American Council on Education as well as Senior Director, Planning & Development at NAFSA: Association of International Educators. A native of Canada, Babby received masters’ degrees from both Lehigh University and Yale University as well as a doctorate degree from Yale University. She previously served on the ISEP board in 1999-2003 and returned for another term of service in 2019.
