To find out whom your contacts are:
- Login to your ISEP Dashboard
- Click the “Your Contacts” tab on the left-hand side of the page.
- There, your Home ISEP coordinator’s contact information will appear followed by your ISEP Student Services Officer and then your Host coordinator(s).
ISEP HOST COORDINATOR
Your other ISEP Coordinator will be at your host institution, the university or college that you are planning to study abroad at. Your host ISEP Coordinator is an employee of your host institution with part of his or her duties designated for ISEP. They either work in the international office of your host institution or are professors with a special interest in international student services.
Your Host Coordinator is responsible for:
- Making housing and meal arrangements prior to your arrival (Exchange students only)
- Direct Students may be responsible for arranging their own housing accommodations and meals but can rely on their host coordinator for guidance.
- Arranging your on-site orientation
- Helping you enroll in courses at your host university
- Connecting you with your host institution’s support systems
- Helping you deal with any issues that arise throughout your stay while at your host institution
ISEP STUDENT SERVICES OFFICER
Your ISEP Student Services Officer (SSO) is an employee of ISEP Global.
Your ISEP SSO is responsible for:
- General Visa advising
- Serving as a liaison between your home and host coordinator
- Assisting with general program questions
- Supporting you before you leave, while you are abroad, and as you return back home

COMMON QUESTIONS
I have questions about housing and meal arrangements while abroad.
You can find information regarding housing accommodations and meal arrangements in your ISEP acceptance package. Please review thoroughly.
If you have additional questions, please contact your ISEP Student Services Officer.
I have questions about an application required by my host institution.
You should have received information directly from your host coordinator about completing an internal application if applicable. If you have questions about this process, please contact your host coordinator directly.
I have questions about my program start date and when I should arrive.
You can view your program dates in your ISEP acceptance package. In addition, please pay close attention to your arrival orientation dates or any pre-session language courses that may be optional. Please contact your Student Services Officer if dates appear unclear.
I have questions about course registration at my host institution.
You should have received information directly from your host coordinator about the course registration process if it was not already indicated in your acceptance package or your internal application. If you have questions about the course registration process, please contact your host coordinator directly.
I have questions about how my courses will transfer back to my home institution.
Your home university ultimately decides how your courses will transfer back. Please contact your home international office directly.
I have questions about my visa.
For visa questions, please review the ISEP Country Handbook for the country you are going to. While ISEP’s page has detailed visa information, you should check the consulate and embassy websites for your host country directly for the most up to date information. If you still have questions after reading your country handbook, please contact your ISEP Student Services Officer.
I have questions about COVID-19 procedures and restrictions in my host country.
Please review any COVID-19 related information listed in your acceptance package if applicable. For additional information, review information provided by your host country. Links to your host country’s local embassy or consulate have been provided in the Special Conditions of Placement portion of your acceptance package and updates are made to those sites regularly.
I have questions about ISEP insurance.

I have questions about support services at my host institution.
You can address your questions to your Student Services Officer. Depending on the services you need, we will assist you in contacting your host coordinator for more specific information.
Whom do I contact if I’m feeling homesick?
It is not uncommon for students to feel homesick at some point while abroad. We recommend checking in with another international student you’ve become friends with. You can certainly talk with your host coordinator and your ISEP Student Services Officer. We would love to talk with you.
