On September 13, 2016, Super Typhoon Meranti approached southeastern Taiwan and is expected to make landfall on Wednesday, September 14th. Our partner, Providence University, does not appear to be in the path of the storm and is only expected to experience moderate effects from the storm. The university remains open tomorrow and courses are proceeding as usual. Students have made preparations should the storm have any lasting effects.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they are available. Please follow #ISEPAlerts on Twitter @ISEPStudyAbroad for real time updates.
